Introducing the...Diamond Jaxx!

Saturday was the opening ceremonies for the Sutter Area Little League. This year the league tried something new...team floats. Keagan's team, the Diamond Jaxx, built a float on the Don's Furniture Store flat bead delivery truck. All the floats were judged and prizes awarded to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place.

Keagan has a great team this year. His team consists of his 2 best friends, 2 boys from school, & 3 boys from church. His coaches are Don Applegarth (Dad of Keagan's best friend), Jerry Handy (a classmate of Brian's) and Dad. Practices are held at our neighbors ball field. For the past 5 years our yard turns into the local park from March until June. This year there are 4 teams using the field Monday-Friday afternoons. Each and every ball season our kids look forward to seeing the same friends (and meet some new ones) return year after year. It's a busy time, but the memories are great!
