Uncle Cody performs BIG!
No better way to spend a Friday evening with my kiddoes than at an F.C.S. Players production. (I think Hailey has only missed a couple of performances in her life. )
We all enjoyed watching Uncle Cody as he performed in the play Oklahoma. Cody you were amazing!
Kessie, another F.C.S. player, and Hailey go way back. It was so good to see you Kessie!

Josh's Senior Pictures
I have been rather busy lately... taking photo's. First, I had a blast capturing the personality of Bethany as a soon to be 4 year old. Second, I had the privilege of photographing the Limas family (Brian's Battalion chief). A little out of my comfort zone, but a super fun growing experience. Most recently, I had the great honor of taking my brother's senior photos. Again, super, super fun. I don't know who had more fun... the one looking into the camera or the one behind the camera.
(Thanks Kathy for the use of your camera. I couldn't have done any of this without it! I am definitely in the market for a larger digital camera for events such as these.)
Unexpectedly, Brian came home in the Engine while we were shooting...let's just say, I couldn't resist. I hope you all enjoy viewing this handsome young man!

At the first of the year, Landon asked his mom and dad if they could plant watermelons in their yard. His parents thought that Uncle Brian & Aunt Angie had a much better place to plant watermelons. So, Aunt Angie started to prepare the soil for planting. The rototiller broke half way through, but with a little bit of soaking the soil was soft enough for digging.
Yesterday, I invited Landon over and supplied him with 1 packet of watermelon seeds and 4 yellow-flesh watermelon plants. Much to my surprise, Claire wanted to join in on the fun. After gathering a 2nd shovel Hailey and I took turns taking pictures and helping Landon & Claire plant their watermelons. Claire was very insistent on being part of the whole process in which she did very well! Landon was gracious enough to let his little sister share in the whole experience. It will be exciting to watch the watermelon plants grow that Landon & Claire's little hands planted.

Easter Sunday
Our church held an Easter service at the Marysville Auditorium. Afterwards Loren, Kathy, Cody and Matt & Ashlie joined us at our house for the afternoon. We had a lot of good laughs!
Hailey was the winner for the girls race!
