Christmas evening with the Penterman family.

The joy of being together outweighed the few tears.

Felicity was hamming it up for this picture.

Trinity has a precious china doll face.

Journey is the life of the party.

Corey and Keagan enjoyed watching Corey's turtle.

Just a few tickles is all it took to get Bethany to smile while Aunt Amber takes a picture.

Just a little more Christmas snuggling.

Hailey and Lacey-Wow! They are becoming young ladies.

Thank you SOOOO...OOO much Grandma Marilyn for all the American Girl doll clothes. They are absolutely adorable.
Trouble is lurking around the corner.

Bethany decided to wear everyone of her Christmas presents at the same time!

My mom had a hard time holding back the tears as she opened the photo star that I modged podged for her.

Christmas morning at our house.

We started out our morning with Hailey reading us our traditional book What God wants for Christmas. It is an interactive nativity scene. Thank you Hailey for doing such a wonderful job!

All Keagan wanted for Christmas was new camouflage.

Hailey was so excited to get her very own sleeping bag.

The kids and I could hardly wait to give Brian his big present-a new day bag & a new bedding bag for work. Brian works very hard to provide a comfortable living for us and rarely gives to himself. The current bag that he lives out of is 10 years old!-very faded and beat up. We wanted him to have a nice, new professional looking bag to carry around that he could be proud of. He just loves them!
As you can see, Bethany could not stop hugging her new pajamas!

Keagan always has a smile.

A little Christmas snuggling going on.

Christmas Eve with the Warta's...

Nana Warta's Christmas tree is like no other...it's a wonder that the tree is able to stand with all those ornaments. It's gorgeous! The kids just love playing a little game of "I spy" with the ornaments. This year Landon and Bethany were so intrigued.

This may be the only decent photo with Grandpa and Nana. Claire was not in the picture mood and kept arching her back & wiggling her body down Grandpa's lap.

Bethany was so excited to talk to Mya on the cell phone. At one point she took off for the playroom so that she could have some 'privacy'. Who knows what those two girls were talking about for so long.
Keagan intently playing Guitar Hero with Uncle Cody.

Nana gave Hailey the surprise of her life- Mia, a discontinued American Girl doll!

I think Nana was more excited than Hailey.

Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas!

Bethany has become quite our little entertainer!

Countdown to Christmas...

Keagan has enjoyed tying fishing flys on his vacation. Thanks Captain Dave for the fishing fly kit!
Holiday baking is always a highlight for the kids. While Brian was at work the kids and I set up a table in the living room for decorating cookies. What a fun treat to watch the holiday cake competition on the food network channel at the same time.

Hailey preparing treats for a "mommy & daughter" cookie exchange at her friend Madi's house.

Bethany loves having the kids home to read her bedtime story to her at nap time-a GREAT treat for mom & dad.
Bethany's 2 favorite dolls dressed for the holiday's.
I heard a lot of giggling coming from the bathroom one evening and this is what I found.
Keagan and Bethany were cracking me up.
Bethany brought me a leaf bouquet. Now that was interesting display on our kitchen counter top.
Our early morning hunters preparing for a day of hunting with their BB guns.

I had the great privilege of spending the last day of school with my girls in Hailey's 4th grade class while Brian hung out in Keagan's 2nd grade class.

Keagan was in a giggly mood that day. His cookie was about 2 in. thick by the time he was done decorating it.

Thank you Cousin Landon!

Landon cut a little Christmas tree down for Bethany all by himself . So,... a new tree meant a new set of lights...a new set of lights meant a trip to Wally World...and a trip to Wally World meant a few additional fun items to decorate the tree (a miniature turquoise tree skirt & sparkly turquoise beads). Purple was her first chose, but that color was not available.

Thanks Uncle Tim and Aunt Casey. Just what we needed...a new tradition. Just kidding! Bethany had a blast. Landon, you filled her love tank. Thank you for always thinking about Bethany. You are so very thoughtful!

Penterman Family Photos...

In the Penterman family we traditionally celebrate Thanksgiving the day after . This year we gathered our family of 21 together for a photo shoot in my parent's yard.

Dad and Mom Penterman with their 9 grandchildren!

Sister Destiny with boyfriend, Brandon.

Brother Josh is a Senior this year and will soon be going away to a University!

Two little love birds. Do I hear wedding bells?

The couple that started it all- married for 35 years!

Mom and Dad Penterman with their 'unmarried' children.

Sisters are so very special. I am just so blessed to have these two as mine.
Mother and daughters.
Father and sons.

The largest family of us all! My brother and his wife welcomed triplet girls to their family in April. Brian's holding Journey and Trinity. Michele is holding Felicity and brother Justice's hand.
A very beautiful family!
