Remember the Firefighters & their families...

Brian has been gone for week on a strike team. He drove the lime green O.E.S. engine down south to Madera, Ca. and staged for 28 hrs. At 11:00 p.m., the crew was asked to report to the Chico fairgrounds for their 1st assignment. After driving most of the night they were put on the fire lines.

Brian has moved around to various fires within the Butte County Lighting Complex Fire. He is currently working 24 hr. shifts on the Camp Fire. He is most likely going to be gone an additional 7-10 days, but can be gone up to 14 days.

At one point this week Brian went 3 days on only 6 hrs. of sleep & without changing his clothes. All the firefighters are stretched thin right now. Please keep the firefighters & their families in your prayers as the fire season is expected to last through October.

Brian and his fellow fire fighters are definately in our prayers. I know these guys live for this stuff but that doesn't make it any less dangerous. You guys at home are in our prayers too! I can only imagine what it must be like to have your hubby gone for so long. Give the kids extra hugs for us and PLEASE let us know if you need anything. We love you all!!!
